Manifolds
The exhaust manifold is a component of the exhaust system that is bolted directly to the engine and bundles the exhaust gases produced in the engine during fuel combustion and directs them on into the exhaust tract.
If the manifold has a hairline crack and thus draws the “wrong air,” this often influences the engine control system, as the lambda sensor measures this faulty air mixture and passes it on to the engine electronics. The manifold must then be replaced.
Cast manifolds
Cast manifolds made of high-quality vermicular graphite cast iron
Tubular manifolds
Lightweight manifold that allows the catalytic converter to reach its operating temperature faster.
Shell manifolds
A compact, lightweight manifold for modern vehicles
